Ray Anthony was the leader of one of the most popular dance bands of the 1950's. Anthony who originally was from Clevelend got his break when he became a trumpet player with the Al Donahue band. He hot his grooming in the 40's with two of the very best bands of the era, The Glenn Miller& Jimmy Dorsey bands. During World War II he like many other band leaders of the time entertained the troops with one of the many service bands.

By the early 50's Anthony had developed one of the best bands around. He featured the Glenn Miller reed sound and his own sweet trumpet and became an important recording artist of the 1950's. One of his own compositions and dances brought him great recognition, the Bunny Hop. He went onto T.V. and the movies and was even featured in his own series in the late 50's.

Vocals By DICK NOEL / PAT BALDWIN / RONNIE DEAUVILLE / BETTY HOLIDAY
